Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation purchased one IMS self propelled cutter suction dredge from USA and gave us the responsibility for three year operation and maintenance. We supplied, installed and commissioned the dredge at Elgin Charsari on the border of Gonda and Barabanki districts. Thereafter, we cut an 8km long channel in the river and diverted the river flow thorugh this channel thereby averting floods that in the past had breached the embankments on both sides and flooded neighbouring villages.
