Guwahati Metropolitan Dev Authority purchased two high end weed harvesters (one large and one medium) to remove water hyacinth and other floating/submerged vegetation from the various Beels (lakes) in Guwahati. The machines were deployed in Dipor and Silsako beels to begin with and were then shifted to various other lakes where our staff operated and maintained these machines for nearly three years to clean up the various water bodies
